Description
An arrow-shaped base for a removable plant label
The marble plant label holder proposal combines a solid directional arrow with a narrow straight slot along its top spine. It offers a garden marker base without requiring engraved plant names in the stone.
Fit the label into the slot
Approximately 18 × 7 × 8 cm is the suggested outside size. Select the removable label separately and provide its thickness, width and intended angle. The usable slot dimensions need confirmation before manufacture; no printed or metal label is included by implication.
Point the arrow towards the relevant bed while keeping its tip clear of the path. White marble is proposed, with the chosen finish and base arrangement agreed for the site. Allow room around the holder for changing labels and cleaning the slot.
Give each marker a clear direction
Send label measurements through the arrow-base quotation request. State the quantity and whether several markers need different orientations. Images present an AI-generated design concept, with final slot construction, price and supply timing established in the confirmed order.
A directional marker without permanent lettering
The arrow form makes the base itself part of the visual message, while the narrow top slot allows a separately selected label to be considered. This is useful to discuss where planting names or display information may change over time. Think about the arrow’s direction and the position from which the label will be read. A measured sketch can show both together so the stone outline points toward the intended bed or feature without relying on the text alone to explain the arrangement.
Select the actual removable label first
Give the maker the label’s dimensions, profile and material information, including the portion intended to enter the slot. Ask for the usable opening and any agreed clearance to be shown in the drawing. The outside stone dimensions cannot establish compatibility with a particular marker. If labels of different thicknesses are planned, discuss that variation before the slot is approved. The quotation should identify whether the label is supplied separately or included expressly, rather than inferring a complete sign from the illustrated stone base.
Plan the reading angle and approach
Consider where someone will stand or walk when reading the label and show that approach on the layout. Ask the relevant supplier to review the relationship between the chosen label and stone base for that setting. The narrow slot in the rendering does not define a finished display angle or attachment detail. If you intend several markers, review their positions as a group so their arrows and labels remain understandable within the garden arrangement. The decorative base should be specified around the actual information display you want to create.
Give the arrow a clear position
Place a paper outline at the intended location and compare it with the edge of the planting and adjacent path. Keep the proposed tip and base position visible in the site brief, and have the supporting arrangement confirmed for the finished piece. A directional shape can be visually effective only if its relationship to the relevant bed is clear. Avoid choosing the stone solely by its close-up detail without showing the surrounding layout. If the planting plan changes, review the marker orientation before the component is commissioned.
Choose a coordinated group when required
For several bases, state the quantity, preferred stone appearance and any differences in direction or label dimensions. Ask the maker how the selected white marble and finish will be coordinated across the order while allowing for agreed natural variation. The arrow’s broad faces may show veins differently on each piece. Compare representative material references with nearby paving and edging so the markers suit the overall garden scheme. The generated image offers a form, while the actual selection and approved drawings define the commissioned set.
Keep the slot accessible for changes
Ask for handling and maintenance guidance appropriate to the arrow tip, top slot and selected finish. Inspect the opening and edges before fitting the approved removable label. Keep access around the marker so a label can be changed using the method agreed with the supplier, without applying pressure to the stone tip. Retain the label reference and slot drawing with the order. If you later choose a different marker material or thickness, review the fit before using it in the existing base rather than assuming every replacement will be compatible.
